Text: I Thessalonians 2:9-13

Open the doors and see all the people.” I believe most of your are familiar with this rhyme, especially when it’s being used by the United Church of Christ to offer an open invitation to all who want to come in and experience God’s unconditional love. I like the rhyme and love the commercial. However, there is something about the rhyme that bothers me. If I were to ask you to define what is church, I would not be surprised to hear that, for some of you church is the building we are in, or what we do on Sunday….”
